Welcome to “SAFEHANDS SUPPORT FOUNDATION”. We are registered on the 13th day of May 2021 under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Non-Governmental Organizations play a wide range of roles in society. Such as Human Rights, Community Development, Humanitarian Assistance, Grassroots Mobilization, Policy Development, Training and Talent Development, Elder Care, Handicraft Work etc. Non-Governmental Organizations are private organizations that operate outside of government supervision. They are often motivated by a particular goal or cause.
We are legally constituted organizations which are non-profit making by nature and not managed by a government body, and work for all levels to perform a variety of humanitarian and developmental services or to address specific issues in support of the public. We are a group of people who work in the public interest. The term “non-governmental organization” was created in Article 71 of the Charter of the newly formed United Nations in 1945.
We rely on donations, grants, and membership dues for funding.
